(For example no. 76 a euro coin, number 20 iron) This way you can learn to identify (recognise) objects. To make things even easier, a block appears simultaneously at the top of the display below the segment bar. This tells you what type of metal the object is probably made of. (For example, iron). In addition, the Ace300i features 3x audio pitch object identification. The metal detector then gives three different audio tones for the different types of metal. A low tone for iron, a medium tone for gold and other objects and a high tone for silver.

Discrimination & Notch
Sensitivity (depth) is self-adjustable, as is discrimination. (Ability to discriminate unwanted objects such as nails and beer caps). You can even discriminate specific ID blocks. This is called notching and contributes to the goal of finding more objects and less trash.

Pinpoint function
The Garrett Ace 300i has an additional pinpoint function. This is a tool for precisely locating objects. It allows you to better pinpoint the location of the object and you will have less work digging it up.

Frequency changer
To avoid interference with other metal detectors and electronics, the Ace 300i offers a frequency changer. If the detector suffers from interference you simply switch frequencies.

Waterproof search coil
The Ace300i features a waterproof search coil and handle, only the display is not waterproof. The Garrett Ace detector can therefore be used in shallow water, as long as the display does not get wet. Even during a rain shower, you should protect the display with a display protection cover.

Reaction speed
This metal detector excels especially in its depth range and its fast reaction speed (recovery speed). The latter is especially important when several objects are located right next to each other. Most metal detectors then only give 1 signal. The Ace 300i lets you hear and see multiple objects.

Good depth range
With the powerful elliptical and waterproof 17 x 25 cm (7 x 10 inch) search coil, a good depth range can be achieved; up to 30 cm for coin-sized objects and up to 1 metre for large objects.
