Garrett's new Multi-Flex multifrequency technology allows the user to search on all search frequencies simultaneously.
The Multi-Flex multifrequency is designed to send all available frequencies into the ground simultaneously/simultaneously, a great invention!

However, you can also choose to operate on 1 selectable search frequency, with a choice of 5, 10, 15 or 20Khz.

Low search frequencies have the advantage of searching deeper and are especially ideal for searching for larger deep objects.

High search frequencies have less depth but are very accurate in detecting the very smallest objects in the upper layer.

Choose the search frequency that best suits the search targets, or opt for the Multiflex multifrequency technique where all search frequencies from 5 to 20Khz are searched simultaneously!

The Apex then combines the advantages of all search frequencies together, allowing you to find very small objects even deeper!

The Apex is a very good beach detector and even offers a special Multi-Flex Salt search frequency for searching the wet salt beach and highly mineralised soils.

In this mode, the Apex also operates using the new Multiflex multi-frequency technology.

Where most metal detectors experience a lot of noise, interference and disturbance in these conditions, the Apex remains quiet, stable and maintains its powerful depth!

Built-in rechargeable Lithium Ion battery. Can be easily charged with the included mini-USB charging cable. Battery lasts up to about 15 hours fully charged, depending on settings.

Frequency switch

The Apex has eight independent frequency switches, or channels, for each single and multi-frequency mode. So that's a total of 48 different frequency settings! Especially to avoid electronic interference from power pylons, other metal detectors or nearby electronics. Also ideal if you often participate in metal detection search days / competitions or search in groups.

Display illumination

Switch on the bright backlight to clearly read the controls and object information. During the day and at dusk.

High resolution ground balance

With the Apex, you can search with all soil conditions, be it fields, beach, highly mineralised soil, it is no problem for the Apex. With its 175 points of ground balance resolution (like the Garrett AT Max), it can handle all soil types,ranging from ferrous soil to salt water.

Iron volume

Allows the user to lower the volume of iron targets, while keeping the volume of non-ferrous targets at a normal level. Experienced treasure hunters often like to hear all targets, but will now appreciate the option to lower the volume of those unwanted items. With eight Iron Volume adjustments, the Apex offers more flexibility than any other detector in its price range.

6" x 11" DD Viper Search Coil

- No need to change coils when changing frequencies!
