The Minelab GOLD MONSTER 2000™ detects ultra-fine gold with greater precision in mineralised soil using Minelab’s Multi-Au™ technology, which combines VLF sensitivity with Pulse Induction technology. Echo Wave™ Audio makes it easier to identify valuable objects by distinguishing weak gold signals from hot rocks, iron and interference. The real-time gold indicator provides visual feedback on the likelihood of detecting gold versus rubbish, whilst the telescopic carbon shaft set offers portability without compromising on durability.

Multi-Au™ technology

Minelab’s new Multi-Au™ technology combines the best of both worlds: the high sensitivity of a VLF detector (for picking up small gold particles) and the stability of a Pulse Induction system (which copes better with difficult soil types).

This clever combination keeps the signal clean and significantly reduces interference from minerals in the ground.

Echo Wave™ Audio

With Echo Wave™ Audio, you can hear every signal clearly and precisely. The technology combines sensitive detection tones with distinct pitch variations, allowing you to effortlessly distinguish between valuable finds and interference such as scrap metal, ‘hot rocks’ or background noise.

Even in difficult conditions, such as highly mineralised soil or rough gold fields, object identification remains accurate and reliable. This allows you to get the most out of every search, with every signal.

Easy-Trak & Quick-Trak ground balance

Thanks to Multi-Au™ technology, the detector automatically adapts to different ground conditions. With Easy-Trak, this happens fully automatically: the detector monitors the ground and ensures the signal remains stable, so you are less bothered by false signals.

Would you prefer to adjust it yourself? Then use Quick-Trak to quickly balance the detector manually at the touch of a button. Ideal for difficult ground, such as hot rocks or highly mineralised areas. This way, you can always search with maximum depth and sensitivity.

Gold Indicator

The Gold Chance Indicator shows in real time how likely it is that a signal is actually from gold, rather than iron or other rubbish. As you search, the meter moves dynamically with every signal, so you can see straight away whether it’s worth digging.

With this direct visual feedback, you work smarter and faster: less time wasted on worthless objects, more focus on real finds. A smart feature that significantly boosts your efficiency and precision.

Automatic Noise Cancel

With Auto Noise Cancel, the detector automatically scans the surroundings for interference, such as power lines or other electronic devices, upon start-up. It then automatically adjusts the frequencies to reduce noise.

The result: more stable operation, a clearer sound and more reliable detection, even in areas with high levels of interference or highly mineralised soil.

Manual & automatic sensitivity

With the manual and automatic sensitivity functions, you can tailor performance perfectly to the conditions. Choose from 10 manual levels for maximum control, or switch to automatic sensitivity for smoother operation.

The standard automatic mode selects a lower sensitivity for extra stability, whilst Auto Plus increases sensitivity to make weaker signals more audible. This ensures you always get the best out of every search, regardless of the ground type.

GM search coil

The GM2000-05 is a compact, round 5″ double-D search coil that is fully waterproof to a depth of 1 metre. Designed for maximum precision and manoeuvrability, this coil is perfect for detecting small gold nuggets in difficult terrain or in tight spaces where larger coils fall short.

With its high sensitivity and stable performance, the GM2000-05 delivers exceptional detection results, even in highly mineralised soil.
